We are conducting research to improve the world’s understanding of neurologic and neurodegenerative diseases that place an especially large burden upon patients, their families, health systems and society.
Our goal is to improve diagnosis and neurologic practice, to discover the molecular causes of disease, to create ‘etiologic’ disease models based on these insights, and to accelerate drug development. Through applied neurogenetics and functional neuroscience our mission is to provide therapies.
